Kogalykol ( Kazakh. Kogalykul , until December 27, 1997 - October [1] ) is a village in the Syrdarya district of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Kogalykol rural district. It is located about 35 km southeast of the district center, the village of Terenozek . The KATO code is 434845100 [2] .

In 1999, the village population was 2771 people (1400 men and 1371 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 2774 people lived in the village (1409 men and 1365 women) [3] .
