Awards of the Penza Region - awards of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation established by the Administration of the Penza Region in accordance with the Legislative Acts on Awards of the Penza Region ” [1] .
The awards of the Penza region are a form of encouraging citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as other persons, including foreign citizens, for their merits in the field of state-building, local self-government, economics, science, culture, art, education, in strengthening the rule of law and law and order, and in protecting health and life, protection of the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen, education, development of sports, for active charitable activities and other services to the Penza region.
