Makushin, Alexander Borisovich

Alexander Makushin was born in Rostov-on-Don . As a schoolboy, he organized the famous rock group " Helen" . Together with his brother Felix Ilyin and friend Oleg Mezherovsky, he recorded several musical projects .

• In 1986 he graduated from the Physics Department of Rostov State University .
• In the same year, Alexander Makushin began his professional career in television as an ACB electrician. Soon he became an assistant director, then a director of the youth editorial office of a television studio.
• In 1996, Alexander Makushin graduated from the Higher Directing Courses with a degree in documentary filmmaking and received an invitation to an internship at SNN .
• Over seven years, documentaries and television programs of Alexander Makushin and scriptwriter Anna Zhiteneva more than 20 times became winners and laureates of Russian and international television forums, and were repeatedly broadcast by federal Russian television channels.
