Content
General information
Located on the eastern shore of Lake Ladoga , at the mouth of the Vidlitsa River.
The Yanisyarvi – Lodeynoye Pole line of the Volkhovstroevsky branch of the Oktyabrskaya Railway and the A130 Olonets – Pitkäranta highway (“ Blue Road ”) runs through the village.
The village was formed in 1957 as a result of the merger of the village of Ustye Vidlitsy and the village of the railway station Vidlitsa.
Historical monuments are preserved in the village [2] :
- Grave of Major Krotov Grigory Ivanovich (1908-1944) - commander of 92 tank regiment
- Memorial place where on June 23 and 25, 1944, the Ladoga naval flotilla landed the landing parties of the 70th and 3rd marine rifle brigades, which provided the advance of the 7th Army
