Biography
Fedor Kulikov was born on February 22, 1918 in Sergiev Posad . After graduating from incomplete secondary school, he studied at a vocational school. In 1938, Kulikov was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army. Participated in the battles at Khalkhin Gol . Since July 1941 - on the fronts of World War II. He was wounded twice in battles. By August 1944, the foreman Fyodor Kulikov was the tank driver of the 21st Guards Tank Brigade of the 5th Guards Tank Corps of the 6th Panzer Army of the 2nd Ukrainian Front . Distinguished himself during the liberation of Romania [1] .
Between August 19 and 27, 1944, Kulikov’s crew repeatedly distinguished themselves in the battles for Barlad , Fokshani and Buzau , destroying a total of 3 tanks, 2 assault guns, 1 anti-tank battery, and was the first to lead his tank across the bridge over the Siret River in the area Cozmeshti village despite the fact that the bridge was mined [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, for the "exemplary performance of the command missions at the front of the battle against the German invaders and the courage and heroism shown" of the Guard, foreman Fedor Kulikov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal The Star ” [1] .
He participated in the Soviet-Japanese war . In December 1945, Kulikov was demobilized. He lived in Zagorsk, worked as a mechanical assembler at the Zagorsk Electromechanical Plant. He died on May 18, 1977, was buried in the Old Cemetery of Sergiev Posad [1] .

He was also awarded the Order of the Red Star and a number of medals [1] .
Memory
In honor of Kulikov the street in Sergiev Posad was named [1] .
