Biological Description

Deciduous shrub, at the age of 10 years, height about 150-160 cm, width 120 cm. The bush is vertical.

The leaves are glossy, young brown-red, in the summer dark green, in the fall of bronze color.

Inflorescences bear 7-10 flowers.

The flowers are funnel-shaped, dark red with an orange tint, about 6.5 cm in diameter. The aroma is absent or very weak.

Flowering in late May - mid-June [2] [3] .

In Culture

It withstands temperature drops to −29 ° С [2] . In the conditions of the Nizhny Novgorod region, with a crown height of 1 m, it is winter-hardy [4] .

The variety has good resistance to powdery mildew , but in certain conditions it may be susceptible to this disease [5] .
