Hainan Li Miao Autonomous Region

Hainan-Li-Miao Autonomous Region ( Chinese уп 黎族 苗 自治州 , pinyin : Hǎinán Lí Zú Miáo zìzhìzhōu , pall .: Zizzhizhou ) (1952–1988) is an autonomous region that existed in Guangdong, China. Located on the island of Hainan. The territory of AO has been part of Hainan Province since 1988. In 1988, with the formation of Prov. Hainan, the Lia-Miao Autonomous Region ceased to exist, and seven Lia autonomous counties were created. [1] In 1988, Hainan Province was established with four fiscal and two liaky autonomous counties. The center is Tongshen [2] (Tongze) [3] .
