Biography
Born January 28, 1858 in an Orthodox family.
Educated in the Polotsk Cadet Corps.
He entered the military service on August 11, 1876 .
He graduated from the 1st Military Pavlovsk School. Issued by second lieutenant (Art. 16.04.1878) with enlistment in the army infantry and secondment to the Life Guard Reserve Regiment. Transferred to the Guard with the rank of ensign (art. 09.05.1879). Second Lieutenant (Art. 28.03.1882). Lieutenant (Art. 01.01.1885).
Headquarters Captain (Art. 05.08.1892). Captain (v. 02.04.1895), commanded a company.
He was retired from 04.25.1902 to 04.29.1904.
Colonel (Art.10.12.1902). Commanded a battalion. Commander of the 33rd East Siberian Rifle Regiment (from 01.07.1904).
Member of the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905 , was shell-shocked at the village of Sandepu.
Major General (Project 1909; Art. 19.01.1909; for distinction). Commander of the 1st Brigade of the 1st Siberian Rifle Division (from 19.01.1909).
Member of the First World War . In June 1915, the rank of Major General was the commander of the 4th Siberian Rifle Division. For distinction, the commander of the 1st Brigade of the 1st Siberian Rifle Division was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th degree. Head of the 4th Siberian Rifle Division (04.22.-29.10.1915).
