History
According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 15 yards in it , 58 men and 80 women lived. [2]
According to the 1897 census , 198 people lived in the village of Ikhalovo (89 men and 109 women). [3]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village of Ikhalovo belonged to the Kotelsky volost of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 37 peasant households and 213 inhabitants. There was a cheese factory in the village. The main occupations of the villagers, in addition to agriculture, were painting and carpentry, agricultural work. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was also part of the Orekhovsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
