Sokolka volost ( Latvian. Sokolku pagasts , lat. Sokolku pogosts ) is one of the three volosts of the Vilanas region . The volost center is located in the village of Strupli ( Latvian. Strupļi , Lat . Strupli ; earlier (eastern part) - Sokolki ).

Geography
Located in the southeastern part of the region.
In the east it borders with the Sakstagal volost of the Rezeknensky Territory , in the south - with the Silmal volost of the Rezeknensky Territory , in the west and north - with the Vilyanskaya Volost of the Wilanian Territory .
Population
According to the 2011 census of Latvia, of the 745 inhabitants of the Sokolka volost, Russians accounted for 70.60% (526 people), Latvians - 27.25% (203 people) [1] .
