Raymond II was completely in debt and spent most of his time in litigation with creditors. On March 1, 1287, Archbishop Aix-en-Provence , to whom Raymond owed more than 5 thousand livres, ordered to sell at auction for 2500 livres jurisdiction in the lord of Pyurikar. May 31, 1288 he put his bali there, but Raymond drove him away. Then the archbishop went to Naples with a complaint against Raymond's numerous crimes committed in 1285-1287. Later, on December 23, 1295, the seneschal of Provence had to intervene in order to get Arles to delay the payment of Raymond's debts to various Jewish usurers and merchants whom he could not pay.
In June 1298, then in 1309 Raymond brought homage to the King of Naples, the Count of Provence, for Aiguille and his other possessions, except for Pyurikar.

On January 11, 1352, his widow Blond de Grignan brought homage to Queen Giovanna and Louis of Tarent for the castle of Aiguille.
