History
According to the Lists of populated places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 4 courtyards , there were 16 men and 14 women. The village had an Orthodox church and a distillery, there were two fairs a year, weekly bazaars . [one]
According to the 1897 census , 28 people lived in the village (14 men and 14 women). [2]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Kotelsky volost of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost administration for 1907 there were 11 peasant households and 31 inhabitants. In the village there were a school, a hospital, a creamery and a forge. [2]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was also part of the Orekhovsky rural settlement. [3] [4]
