Physical Properties

Iridium (IV) selenide forms dark gray crystals, rhombic syngony , space group P nam , cell parameters a = 2.094 nm, b = 0.593 nm, c = 0.374 nm, Z = 8.

It is not soluble in water and acids, slowly soluble in aqua regia .
