Gorelov, Ignat Efimovich

In 1952 he graduated with honors from the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Pedagogical College ^[1] , received the qualification of an elementary school teacher. In the same year he entered the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after A. S. Bubnov with a degree in History. In 1956 he graduated with honors, having received the qualification of “high school history teacher”.

In 1968, at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin, he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of historical sciences on the topic "From the History of the Moscow Regional Bureau of the RSDLP (1905-1917)" (specialty 570 History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union). ^[2]

In 1967-1974 - Inspector of the Propaganda Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR .

In 1974-1984 he headed the Department of History of the CPSU of the All-Union Correspondence Financial and Economic Institute .

In 1980, at Lomonosov Moscow State University, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic “The Bolsheviks' struggle for the unity of the RSDLP during the years of reaction (1907-1910)” (specialty 07.00.01 History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union ) ^[3]

In 1984-1987, he was a professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Teachers of Social Sciences of MV Lomonosov Moscow State University .

In 1992-1995, he was a professor at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute .

In 1998-2011, he was a professor at the Russian State University of Tourism and Service .

He was buried in Moscow at the Khovansky cemetery ^[4] .
