Biography
Born on January 7, 1924 in a family of an employee in Minsk .
Before the start of World War II, he managed to finish the first year of the Minsk Construction College.
From December 1941 - a member of the Minsk underground, from March 1943 - partisans in the Zheleznyak brigade in the Begoml region, from 1944 to 1945 he served in the Soviet Army.
He graduated from the journalism department of the Belarusian State University (1951). He worked in the editorial offices of the newspapers Minskaya Prada (1951-1953) and Zorka (1953-1964). Since 1965 - executive secretary, in 1978-1985 - deputy chief editor of the magazine "Belarus" [2] .
