Perineurium (perineurium) - concentric layers of connective tissue (perineural cells), forming a sheath around bundles of nerve fibers of peripheral nerves. Perineurium supports and protects nerve fibers within the bundle and provides strength and elasticity to the peripheral nerves . Depending on the size of the beam and the location in the body, the number of layers of the re-neural cells varies from 3 to 15. [1] Each re-neural cell is surrounded by a membrane consisting of proteoglycans ( laminin , fibronectin , and heparin sulfate ).
