Blontinsky volost [1] or Blontinsky volost ( Latvian. Blontu pagasts ) - one of five volosts of the Tsiblsky edge . The volost center is the village of Blonti ( Latvian. Blonti ), 11 km north of the city of Ludza .

In the northeast, the volost borders on the Border volost of the Krasnogorodsky district of the Pskov region of Russia .
Population
According to the 2011 census of Latvia, out of 717 inhabitants of the Blontine parish, Latvians accounted for 74.48% (534 people), Russians - 23.85% (171 people) [2] . At the beginning of 2015, the population of the volost is 421 permanent residents [3] .
