Content
Story
Mosaic pattern in which various animals chase each other. First, a cat chases a mouse, then a dog chases a cat, then a tiger chases a dog, and at the end a shotgun hunter shoots a tiger and the whole mosaic crumbles.
About the cartoon
I don’t like to watch my films at all, I always find flaws in them that are noticeable only to me. It was with great pleasure that I did Mosaic. But now I understand that it was necessary to work on it differently. You see, we had a factory at the studio, we had to give work to the employees of the packaging, contouring, filling shops. The “mosaic” had to be removed under the apparatus, moving the pieces under the camera, but in no case should it be contoured on the celluloid.
I can say that most of the plots were to some extent imposed on me by the editors, who were the right hand of Goskino. “Mosaic” has become an exception [1] .
