L. F. Brinken

Born March 8, 1858 in a noble Lutheran family. Brother of General A.F. Brinken .

Educated in the Polotsk military gymnasium.

He entered the military service on August 11, 1876 .

He graduated from the Pavlovsk Military School (1878). Issued as second lieutenant (Art. 16.04.1878) with a secondment to the Life Guards Grenadier Regiment .

Transferred to the regiment with the rank of warrant officer of the guard (Article 25.03.1879). Second Lieutenant of the Guard (Article 21.08.1879). Lieutenant (Art.24.03.1885). Headquarters Captain (Art. 21.04.1891). Captain (v. 02.04.1895).

Colonel (st. 06.12.1900). He commanded a company and a battalion. Commander of the 95th Infantry Regiment of Krasnoyarsk (07.07.1906-29.03.1907). Commander of the Life Guards of the St. Petersburg Regiment (03/29/1907 - 05/30/1912).

Major General (Project 1907; Art. 31.05.1907; for distinction). Commander of the 1st Brigade of the 1st Guards Infantry Division (from 05.30.1912). In January 1915 - in the same rank and position.

Member of the First World War . He was shell-shocked in battle. He commanded the 28th (or 2nd) infantry division (04/03/1915 - 04/18/1917). Lieutenant General (project 08/08/1915; Art. 03/04/1915; for distinction in service) with the approval of the head of the same division.

Dismissed from service for illness with a uniform and pension on September 21, 1917 . Member of the White Movement as part of the Union . From 02/18/1919 - in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Caucasian Volunteer Army, from 07/22/1919 - in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief of the All-Union Union of Railways.

Evacuated abroad in the period 12.1919 - 03.1920. As of May 1920, he was in Yugoslavia . He was chairman of the Yugoslav group of the Life Guards Association of the Petrograd Regiment in Belgrade . General from infantry .

He later lived in Italy. He died in Bari (Italy) on August 29, 1925 , where he was buried.

He was married and had two children [1] .
