Description
Small coleoptera insects with a body shape oval convex from above, body length from 2.8 to 5.0 mm. Black brown with orange yellow markings. Antennal flagellum consists of 8 or 9 segments. Scutellum subtriangular. Close to the genus Cryptogonus . The genus was first isolated in 1850 by the French entomologist Etienne Mülsan (Étienne Mulsant; 1797–1880) [2] .
