Flag of the Prikubansky rural settlement (Slavyansk region)

“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Prikubansky rural settlement of the Slavic region in green, white and red colors.”

The description of the first flag of the Prikubansky rural settlement, approved on October 26, 2012 by the decision of the Council of the Prikubansky rural settlement No. 2 ^[1] , was similar, but the flag pattern was based on the coat of arms, approved on the same day by the decision of the Council of the Prikubansky rural settlement No. 1 ^[2] , the heraldic description of which read:

“ In a green field with a wavy silver tip - scarlet, on silver steps and with silver masonry along the edges of the facade, a tower burdened with a silver bunch of three stalks of cattail; the tower has a gabled roof of the same enamel; below and above the roof is bordered with silver, in the middle it has a silver watch dial and on the edge is decorated with a small boat of the same metal under sail and with a weather vane on the mast . ”

An unofficial description of the current flag reads: “A rectangular panel with a width to length ratio of 2: 3, green with a white wavy strip along the bottom edge (wave take-off from 1/5 to 1/6 of the width of the panel); in the middle of the green part of the panel is red, on white steps and with white masonry along the edges of the facade, a tower with a red pointed roof; below and above, the roof is bordered with white, on a point of white color a small boat under sail and with a weather vane on the mast; in the middle of the main part of the tower is a white cattail stalk. ”

The flag in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural and economic features of the rural settlement.

Green is a symbol of fertility, tranquility, health, hope and eternal renewal. Green color also allegorically indicates steppe open spaces and agriculture.

The white wavy strip at the bottom of the cloth allegorically indicates the Kuban River , along which the settlement is located and in honor of which it received its name.

White color ( silver ) symbolizes wisdom, perfection, purity, justice and friendship.

The image of the red clock tower and weather vane is a landmark of the settlement, the color of the tower symbolizes the periods of development of the settlement, the exploits of its inhabitants and allegorically indicates the inviolability of traditions and respect for the younger generation to the historical past.

The clock is a symbol of perpetual forward movement. Vane sailboat symbolizes the ability to quickly navigate in changing circumstances, a symbol of the pursuit of the best.

The image of cattail - the eternal companion of rice checks, allegorically indicates the economic component - the cultivation of rice in the farms of a rural settlement, as well as the lowland covered with cattail.
