In 1943, Maslovo received the status of an urban-type settlement. Since December 31, 1999 Maslovo is a rural settlement [2] .

According to the 2002 census, the national composition is as follows: Russians - 91%, Tatars - 5%, Germans - 3% [9] . According to the 2010 census, the village had: men - 245, women - 264 [10] .
