The Aktobe Chrome Compounds Plant ( Kaz.Atқbe Chrome osyndylary Zauyty ) is an industrial enterprise in Aktobe , Kazakhstan . It produces monochromat , sodium dichromate , chromic anhydride, chrome tanning agents and others. The raw material is chrome ore . The construction of the plant began in 1949, the first phase was commissioned in 1957, the second in 1963. Chrome compounds are used in aviation, oil , oil, pharmaceutical, paint and varnish, textile and leather and other industries. Products are exported to many countries of the world ( USA , Belgium , Japan , France , Germany and others).

From 1996 to 2015, it was managed by Special chemical Inc (Liechtenstein). According to the data of the rating agency Expert RA Kazakhstan, JSC AZHS for 2015 occupies 164th place in the list of the largest companies in Kazakhstan [2] .
