Maya Mitchell ( born Maia Mitchell , born August 18, 1993 [1] , Lismore , New South Wales , Australia ) is an Australian actress and singer. The most famous for her role is Brittany Flyun in the television series " Defiant " [2] and the role of Callie Adams Foster in the dramatic television series " Fosters ".

Biography
Maya was born in Lismore , New South Wales , Australia . Her father Alex was a taxi driver, and her mother Jill worked in the education system. Mitchell has a younger brother, Charlie. [3] She plays the guitar, which was shown in her films and television works. Studied at Trinity Catholic College in Lismore. [4]
Career
Maya began her acting career, performing in school performances, as well as in local theater productions. Her talent was discovered by the agency when Maya was 12 years old, and soon she got the role of Brittany Flyun in the television series “Unruly”. After her success in the TV series "Unruly" , she starred in the television series "Trapped". She also starred in the television series K-9 , a spin-off of the popular British series Doctor Who .
Her first television role was on the Disney Channel , in the television series Jesse . Then she made her film debut, starring in the television film “ Summer. Beach. Cinema ”as Mackenzie. Since 2013, starred in the television series " Fosters " channel ABC Family in the role of Callie Jacob.
