The bus is the most developed public transport in Tallinn . It is represented by 73 routes that serve the buses of Scania , Volvo , MAN and Iveco . The Tallinn bus is part of the Tallinn public transport system, and therefore, from January 1, 2013, travel on it is free for all passengers whose residence is registered in Tallinn, as well as for residents of the Republic of Estonia who have the right to a benefit; paid it is for everyone else. When boarding, passengers must check in with a pre-purchased Ühiskaart travel card and the so-called validator to read information from this card. The fare is paid in the same way. Many routes start near the Viru Keskus shopping center in the city center or at the bus terminal under Viru Keskus.
