The station has 6 tracks (of which 3 are the main ones) and 3 platforms for workers (located in the even neck). The station passes 20 pairs of trains per day [2] . The station was created to unload the existing Losevo platform . [3]

Near the station is located SNT "Amethyst". It is assumed that the train traffic at the station will be increased to 4-6 trains per hour (maximum line load of 6-7.5 trains per hour [4] ). Residents of SNT criticize the project for loud noise, [5] possible traffic jams at level crossings, and for environmental degradation. [6] During the construction, a forest was cut down, and a quarry with a total area of up to 40 hectares was also dug without necessary permits. [7] [8]

Public hearings on the station were held in the village of Varshko. Initially, it was reported that passenger use of the station was not planned. [9]
