History
According to data from 1966 and 1973, the village at the Valgovitsy station was part of the Velikinsky Village Council [2] [3] .
According to 1990 data, the village at the Valgovitsy station was part of the Kotelsky village council [4] .
In 1997, 16 people lived in the village at the Valgovitsy station, in 2002 - 10 people (Russians - 70%), in 2007 - 3 [5] [6] [7] .
Geography
The village is located in the northern part of the district near the Valgovitsa railway platform on the Kotly - Ust-Luga line , south of the A180 ( E 20 ) highway ( St. Petersburg - Ivangorod - the border with Estonia ) “ Narva ”.
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 20 km [7] .
