Biography

Vyacheslav Alekseevich Sorokin was born on February 3, 1944 in Leningrad .

In 1967 he graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Telemechanics of the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute . He worked as an engineer. In 1974 he graduated from the directing department of the dramatic art department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK) (now - RGISI , workshop of A. A. Muzil ). He worked as a director in various theaters.

In 1978, he graduated from the directing department of the VKSR (workshop of A.N. Mitta ). Since 1978 - director at the Lenfilm film studio. Since 1991 - General Director of “AKV Studio” (“Audio-Kino-Video Studio”) [1] [2] .

In 2000, Vyacheslav Alekseevich Sorokin was awarded the honorary title “ Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ”.
