The presidential election in Chile took place in 1906 according to the electoral system. Liberal Alliance candidate Pedro Montt , son of former Chilean President Manuel Montt, defeated the candidate for the Coalition, which consisted mainly of the Conservative Party, Fernando Lazcano.
