Biography
From 1918 he studied at the All Saints Seminary in Dublin . He studied philosophy at University College Dublin and theology at St. Peter's College in Wexford . On June 14, 1925, Redmond Garrett Prenivil was ordained a priest , after which he served in the archdiocese of Perth. In 1929 he was appointed administrator in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Perth.
On July 11, 1933, Pope Pius XI appointed Redmond Garrett Predeville to the titular Bishop of Zispela and the subsidiary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Perth. On the 22nd of October, the Red Cross was ordained .
On May 24, 1935, Pope Pius XI appointed Redmond Garrett Prendyville to be Archbishop of Perth.
In 1957, founded the College of St. Thomas More at the University of Western Australia . Participated in the I and II sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
In 1946, he suffered two strokes. He died on June 28, 1968 in the city of Perth, Australia. He was buried in Carracata cemetery.
