Sports career

She played for the sports society BVSC. At the World Championships in Turin (1961) she became the silver medalist in team competitions on foils. At the Summer Games in Tokyo (1964), she won Olympic gold as a member of the Hungarian national team.

At the World Championships in Havana (1969), together with the team of her country, she won a bronze medal, and two years later in Vienna (1971) - silver.

She worked as a teacher. She was married to the Olympic champion of Rome (1960) in the team championship on sabers Tamas Mendeleny .
