Biography
Born in Kursk . In the 1920s and 1930s, he worked in various technical positions in hydrology, land reclamation, and peat mining.
In the 1920s, he was a member of the Kursk Local History Society. Over the next decades, did not leave local history activities. He published biographies and popularized in his work the experience of Kursk self-taught technicians - astronomer and meteorologist F. A. Semenov , wind energy A. G. Ufimtsev .
In 1932-1934 he headed the Kursk Hydrological Station. He taught geodesy and hydrology in educational institutions of the city of Kursk .
After the start of World War II, he was evacuated to Kuibyshev. In 1943 he was appointed head of the Kursk hydrometeorological station, where he worked until 1954.
Since 1954 he switched to teaching (associate professor) at the Kursk State Pedagogical Institute (now Kursk State University ). Author of many articles on hydrological issues, books and brochures. He also published a number of works on biology and hydronymics of the Kursk Territory.
