Alyabyev, Mikhail Ivanovich

Born in 1914 in the village of Tyoplenkaya Pervaya (now Dolgorukovsky District, Lipetsk Region ) into a peasant family. Russian. In childhood, he moved with his parents to the area of ​​the city of Kryvyi Rih ( Dnipropetrovsk region , Ukraine ), where his father worked at one of the mines as a slaughterer .

In 1930, he himself came to work at one of the mines of Kryvyi Rih, first he was a wagoner, then a horse-drawn driver . In 1933 he became a sinker , worked as a manual drill on a perforator. Later, from the work of a drifter, he switched to a fastener, at the same time he studied at the courses of vrubmashinists. In 1934 he was enrolled in the team of mining and capital works for the sinking of vertical shafts, and two years later he became the foreman of the drifters.

Member of World War II . He went to the front in the summer of 1941 , in 1943 he was demobilized after a severe wound.

At the beginning of 1943 he came to work as a tuner at the Stalin mine of the Tkvarchelugol trust. It was during the war years that the active development of this coal deposit in Georgia (now the Republic of Abkhazia) began, and the need for experienced and qualified personnel grew.

The new driver quickly mastered in an unfamiliar environment, after a short time he began not only to fulfill but also to exceed the production standards. Soon he was already leading the brigade. Plans for the passage of workings his team has always carried out ahead of schedule.

In June 1947, when passing one of the drifts, Alyabyev organized high-speed driving for a month using the new method, he passed 82 m instead of 60 m according to the norm. For a long time, a memorial plaque with the inscription “Alyabyev’s Shtrek” hung in the drift, and in the plans of the mine it was listed under that name.

The main thing in the work of Alyabyev was the use of the time factor and maximum mechanization. He initiated the introduction of core electric drills in Tkvarcheli, converted part of the medium-speed drills into high-speed drills. The time spent on the drilling phase in the Alyabyev section was much less than in other sections - 6 hours instead of 2 shifts. Alyabyev completed the tasks of 1947 by 238%, and the tasks of 1948 - by 248%.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 28, 1948, for outstanding achievements in increasing coal production, restoration and construction of coal mines and the introduction of advanced working methods that ensure a significant increase in labor productivity, Mikhail Ivanovich Alyabyev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Sickle and Hammer medals.

He continued to work at the mine. He lived in the city of Tkvarcheli (now Tkuarchal , Republic of Abkhazia ). Mikhail Ivanovich died while working in a mine in 1949 .
