Biography
Member of the CPSU since 1960
In 1959, he graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy, in 1974 - the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU.
- 1959-1968 - state farm mechanic, first secretary of the Mstislavsky district Komsomol district committee, Komsomol regional committee, secretary of the Komsomol committee, chief mechanical engineer of the production collective farm and state farm department, head of the district production department of agriculture in the Bobruisk district,
- 1968-1973 - First Secretary of Krasnopolsky,
- 1973-1974 - first secretary of Bykhovsky (?) District committee of the CP of Belarus,
- 1974-1979 - Secretary of the Mogilev Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus,
- 1979-1982 - Head of the Agricultural Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus,
- 1982-1985 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Gomel Regional Council,
- 1985—1989 - First Secretary of the Gomel Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus,
- 1989–1990 Secretary, 1990–1991 - Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.
Member of the CPSU Central Committee (1990-1991), candidate member of the CPSU Central Committee (1986-1990). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the 11th convocation.
Subsequently, the head of the Republican Inspection of Boiler Inspection, Standardization and Metrology under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus. Until 2000, he was a deputy to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus from the Bykhov electoral district.
