History
According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 6 yards in it , 56 men and 46 women lived. In the village there were two Orthodox churches, a fair , weekly bazaars were held. [one]
According to the 1897 census , 55 people lived in the village (16 men and 39 women). [2]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Durtsy volost of the Galich district of the Kostroma province. According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 18 peasant households and 34 inhabitants. There was a school in the village. A separate settlement in the same volost is the Uglevsky Zemsky Hospital with a population of 7 people. [2]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Proninsky rural settlement. [3] [4]
