Geography
The village is located 3 km from the administrative center of the commune of the village of Nebylets. Near the village flows the river Gvoznitsa, which is a tributary of the Vistula .
History
In 1787, the village consisted of 39 houses, in which 291 people lived. In 1930, 516 people lived in the village, in 2001 - 438 people. In 2011, the population was 441 people [1] .
In the XIX century, the village belonged to various noble families. At the beginning of the 19th century, the village belonged to the Zaklikov family, which in the second half of this century passed the village of Gvoznitsa-Gurna . In 1886, the village became the property of the nobleman Jan Witkowski and in 1890 was jointly owned by Heinrich Strashevsky and Lazor Waitstein. In 1905, the village became the property of Tomash Nakhaysky and five co-owners.
Before the start of World War I , the village had an elementary school, which was rebuilt in 1934.
From 1975 to 1998, Gvoznica Dolna was part of the Rzeszow Voivodeship.
