Channel of the Molochnaya River ( Ukrainian: Channel of the River Molochnoi [1] ) - a straightening channel laid to the east of the Milk River between the city of Melitopol and the village of Konstantinovka .

Description
The canal is separated from the Milk River at the southwestern outskirts of the village of Voznesenka and flows about 500 meters east of the river along the western border of the village of Konstantinovka . At the southwestern outskirts of Konstantinovka it is again connected to the Milk River. Channel width 10 m, depth 1.4, viscous soil.
2 reinforced concrete bridges were thrown across the channel
- The bridge over which the M-14 highway runs is a continuation of the Melitopol Intercultural Street . Reinforced concrete, 13 meters wide.
- The bridge along which the dirt road passes, connecting the Melitopol Peschanoe district with Konstantinovka, is a continuation of the Melitopol street Mikhail Oratovsky . Reinforced concrete, 6 meters wide [2] .

History
A canal east of the Molochnaya River channel was dug before the revolution [3] . During the war years , the southern part of the canal was already approximately where it is now, and the northern part of the canal was still missing [4] . By 1990, the canal was already fully flowing along its current channel [2] .
Ecology
In 2005-2010, the canal practically did not work to discharge water, which during rains led to flooding in Konstantinovka . In recent years, work is underway to clear the channel [5] .
