Kaukei ( Kaz.Kukey , before 199? Shengeldy) - a village in the Kazalinsky district of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Kyzylkum rural district. It is located about 72 km south-west of the district center, the village of Aiteke Bi . The KATO code is 434445100 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 1,500 people (758 men and 742 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1220 people lived in the village (619 men and 601 women) [2] .
