Biography
Born in 1924 in the village of Shcherbinovka now Atkarsky district of the Saratov region . He graduated from junior high school. In August 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army . He went to the front as part of the 164th cadet rifle brigade formed from cadets of the Baku Infantry School named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze . He fought on the North Caucasus Front and as part of the Separate Primorsky Army. He took part in the defense and liberation of the Caucasus, in the defeat of the Nazi troops in the Crimea. Three times wounded. For military distinctions he was awarded the Order of the Red Star .
The rank of Hero of the Soviet Union Guard, Junior Sergeant Nosov, Alexander Mikhailovich, was awarded on October 17, 1943 for the destruction of 70 enemy soldiers and officers in one of the battles on the Taman Peninsula, while showing valor and courage. He died on October 3, 1943 in the battles for the liberation of Taman. By order of the USSR Minister of Defense No. 261 of November 1, 1966, he was forever enlisted in the lists of the 2nd Motorized Rifle Company of the 15th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 2nd Guards Taman Motorized Rifle Division (military unit 31134). Initially, he was buried in the center of the village of Starotitarovskaya in the Krasnodar Territory at the memorial to the defenders of the Fatherland. A granite monument is installed at the burial site. He was later reburied in the cemetery of the village of Starotitarovskaya near the memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Red Army .
