The administrative center is the village of Takhta [4] .
Geography
Located in the northwestern part of the Ipatovo district. In the north it bordered with the Republic of Kalmykia , in the west - with the Krasnogvardeisky district . The total area of the municipality was 177.11 km² [5] . The distance from the administrative center of the municipality to the district center is 71 km [6] .
History
From May 1, 2017, in accordance with the Law of the Stavropol Territory dated April 29, 2016 No. 48-KZ [2] , all municipalities of the Ipatovo municipal district ( urban settlement Ipatovo , rural settlements Bolshaya Dzhalga , Bolshevik village council , Burukshun village , Vinodelnensky Village Council , Voluntary Vasilievsky Village Council , Zolotarevsky Village Council , Kevsalinsky Village Council , Colorful Village Council , Lesnodachnensky Village Council , Liman Village Council , Malo-Barkhanaksky Village Council , October Village Council , Pervomaisky Village Council , Sovetskorunny village council and Takhtinsky village council ) were transformed, through their unification, into Ipatovsky city district.
