Born in the city of Urgench, Uzbek SSR . He entered the acting department of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. A. N. Ostrovsky , who graduated in 1964 .
He made his film debut in 1963 , starring in the movie “ Five from Fergana ” as the first Komsomol member of Uzbekistan Abdulla Nabiyev. From 1964 he worked at the Uzbekfilm studio, starring in more than 40 films and television films of this studio.
Known in Uzbekistan and throughout the Soviet Union gained for his role Otabek in the historical film " Past Days " (1969) directed by Yuldash Agzamova (film adaptation of the eponymous novel by Abdullah Kadiri ) and the role of the famous Uzbek poet , playwright , composer , revolutionary and public figure Hamza Khakimzade Niazi in multiserial the feature film (series) “ Fiery Roads ” (1977–1984), directed by Shukhrat Abbasov .
In the USSR, he also starred in the film studios “ Tajikfilm ”, “ Kirgizfilm ”, the Gorky Film Studio , etc. In the post-Soviet period, he was filmed in the films of Uzbekistan , Azerbaijan , and Russia .
