Biography

Boris Kuznetsov was born in 1914 in the city of Malin (now the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine ). He graduated from five grades of school and evening school. In 1934, Kuznetsov was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army. He graduated from junior lieutenant courses. He participated in the battles of the Soviet-Finnish war, being the foreman of a company of the 93rd separate combat engineer battalion of the 62nd Rifle Division of the 13th Army of the North-Western Front [1] .

February 22, 1940 Kuznetsov participated in the battle for the Finnish command post near the village of Mutaranto .
