Jean-Pierre Elcabach [2] ( fr. Jean-Pierre Elkabbach , born September 29, 1937 ) [3] is a French journalist.

Biography
Elkabah was born in Oran in a Jewish family. He began his career as a journalist in 1960, as a radio correspondent in Algeria , but, taking part in strikes in May 1968, was removed and sent to Toulouse . After that, Elkabach spent his time in Bonn , Germany , before daring to go on television in 1970 . From 1993 to 1996, he served as president of the main television channels of France - France 2 and France 3 , from 1999 to 2009 - president of the television station "Public Sénat", from 2005 to 2008 - head of the radio station Europe 1 [3] . Elkabah interviewed various international writers, political leaders, intellectuals and historians [4] .
