Club career

Yatabare as part of Mali

Yatabar is the son of a worker from Mali and a technical specialist from Senegal . At the age of 9, Sambu began attending the football school of a small club from his hometown. One of the Kana coaches noticed Yatabare and invited him to his team. Sambu spent a year at the club’s youth academy and in 2008 was included in the application for the season. On March 7, 2009, in his match against Grenoble , he made his debut in League 1 [2] . On April 18, in a duel against Nancy , Sambu scored his first goal for the club [3] . At the end of the season, Kan flew to Ligue 2 , but Yatabar remained in the team and was able to win a place at the base. At the end of the season, he helped the club return to the top division.

In late summer 2011, Samubu moved to Monaco , which played in League 2. On September 9, in his match against Angers , he made his debut for a new club [4] . On January 30, in a duel against Lance , Yatabar scored his first goal for the club [5] . Sambu season played out for a team of reservists, and in the summer he broke the contract with the club. His new team was Bastia . On August 11, in a match against Sochaux , Yatabar made his debut for a new club [6] . On December 22, in a meeting against Nancy , Sambu scored his first goal [7] .

In the summer of 2015, on a loan basis, Sambu transferred to the Liege Standard [12] . On September 13, in a match against Lokeren , he made his debut in the Jupe League [13] .

In early 2016, Yatabar moved to the German Werder Bremen . On February 20, in a match against Ingolstadt 04 , he made his debut in the Bundesliga , replacing Levin Oztunali in the second half [14] . On April 16, in a duel against Wolfsburg , Sambu scored his first goal for the Bremen club [15] .

International Career

On November 18, 2008, in a match against the Algerian national team, Yatabar made his debut for the Mali national team [16] . In 2013, he was included in the application of the national team for participation in the African Cup of Nations in South Africa . At the tournament, Sambu was a substitute footballer and did not play a minute.

In early 2015, he went to the Africa Cup for the second time. At the tournament, Yatabar took part in fights against the teams of Cameroon [17] , Côte d'Ivoire [18] and Guinea [19] . In the match against Cameroonians, he scored a goal.

In early 2017, Mustafa took part in the African Cup in Gabon for the third time. At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Ghana [20] and Egypt [21] .
