The XII Championship of the Men's Super League , the 2nd most important division of the Russian Basketball Championship among men's teams, was held under the auspices of the RBF . The regular Super League championship of 2013/2014 among 14 teams was held from October 4, 2012 to March 27, 2014. Playoff matches were held in April-early May.

Changes from previous season
According to the results of the 2012/2013 season, the Championship was supposed to leave Ural BC taking 1st place in order to move to VTB United League . Due to the lack of economic financing, his place was taken by the Red October invited to the VTB League. And the place of the Volgograd club took “Spartak-Primorye”. The teams “Planet University”, “Union”, “Sparta and K” and “Severstal” refused to participate. They were replaced by Irkut, Samara-SSEU and Parma.
