Geography
The Mikhailovsky settlement is located in the southern part of the Dolgorukovsky district , 12 km southeast of the Dolgorukovo district center. Located on the left bank of the Luh River .
History
Mikhailovsky was founded in the 1920s . The name is probably after the first settler or former owner of the land.
It is mentioned in the census of the USSR in 1926, it has 10 yards, 61 residents. In 1932, 74 residents were celebrated [2] .
Since 1928, as part of the newly formed Dolgorukovsky district of the Yelets district of the Central Chernozem region . After the separation of the Central Black Sea District in 1934, the Dolgorukovsky district became part of the Voronezh region , in 1935 - the Kursk region , and in 1939 - the Oryol region . Since January 6, 1954 as part of the Dolgorukovsky district of the Lipetsk region .

Transport
