Story
The film tells about the Poles, Ukrainians, Jews - residents of the village of Krasny Yar. The spectators look at their fates through the eyes of the young Stasheka Dolina, who ends up in Siberia with her father, mother and brother. Circumstances make him reevaluate his life, grow up early and make decisions, the rate of which will be the life of his loved ones.
Together with his unfortunate comrades, he begins a difficult struggle for survival, in which the most dangerous enemy will not be the terror of the NKVD , but the ruthless nature. Burning frosts in winter and clouds of midges in summer, deadly hunger and raging epidemics of disease. The only chance to survive all this is to help each other.
