Biography
Konstantin Kudryashov was born on September 9, 1913 in the village of Palnye [1] . He graduated from nine classes of the school. In January 1932, Kudryashov was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . In 1933, he graduated from the Yeisk Naval Aviation School for Pilots. In April 1936, Kudryashov was sacked. In 1942, he was re-drafted into the army. Since August of the same year - on the fronts of World War II [2] .
During his participation in the battles, Kudryashov made 153 sorties to bombard important targets in the deep enemy rear, aerial reconnaissance, and the delivery of goods to partisans. Towards the end of the war, with the rank of Major’s Guard, he commanded a squadron of the 22nd Guards Air Regiment of the 5th Guards Air Division of the 4th Guards Air Corps of the USSR ADD [2] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of November 5, 1944 for “courage and heroism shown in battles” of the Guard, Major Konstantin Kudryashov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal number 5283 [2] .
In February 1946, Kudryashov was sacked. He lived in the Far East, then in the Crimea. He spent the last years of his life in Simferopol . He died on June 1, 1990 [2] .
He was also awarded two orders of the Red Banner , three orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, a number of medals and foreign awards [2] .
