Emilia Scavra ( Latin: Aemilia Scaura ; died in 82 BC ) is an ancient Roman matron, the second wife of Gnei Pompey the Great .
Father - Mark Emilius Scavr , Consul 115 BC e., died about 89–88 years BC. e. Mother - Cecilia Metella Dalmatik - after the death of Scavra, she married Lucius Cornelius Sullu .
By 82 BC e. Emilia married Mania Atzilia Glabriona and was expecting a child from him [1] . Despite this, her stepfather Sulla ordered her to divorce Glabrion and marry her supporter Pompey [1] (the initiator of the personal life of Pompey was probably Cecilia Metella Dalmatik [2] ). Pompey Sulla ordered to divorce his wife Antistia . In the end, Emilia and Pompey got married, but soon Emilia died during childbirth with her newborn son [1] .
