Sports career
In the first team of Ajax, Karel made his debut on November 19, 1950 in the home match of the 8th round of the championship against the DOS club from Utrecht [1] . After the first half, the guests scored 0-2, thanks to Krommert's goals and Leuten . In the second half, Leuten increased his advantage, and then the goal was marked off by the defender of Amsterdam Bab Fritz . The point in the match was put by Dirk Lammers , setting the final score - 0: 5 [2] [3] .
Blitz took part in two more games of the championship season 1950/51 [4] . The last time he played for the red and white on March 18, 1951 in the 19th round of the championship against the DOS club [1] [5] . In December, Karel joined the HEDV club in Amsterdam (now VV-HEDV ) [6] , which was mainly played by Jews .
